Successful candidate will have excellent IT skills with a keen eye for detail. Preferable experience with Fleet Department Administration. This role is currently needed for one month but may be subject to change. Must be available for Interview on 06/02/20 to potentially start on 10/02/20.

Working hours as below:

Monday to Friday – 9am to 3pm

The Business Support Team is responsible for the provision of administrative support predominantly for Waste & Street Cleansing, Parks & Grounds and Fleet Services/


The role of Business Support Officer will be responsible to the Team Leader Business Support, for the day to day running of administrative and associated services.  They will liaise with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the provision of an efficient, quality support service.


The role requires the Post holder to build up good working relationships with colleagues, contractors and suppliers, Council Officers and elected Members together with relevant professional institutes/agencies.


They will be responsible for ensuring that the paperwork relating to vehicle repairs is compliant with VOSA requirements.


The post holder must have excellent communication skills together with at least 2 GCSE’s or equivalent one of which must be in English Language.


Experience of carrying out administration work and good IT skills are essential to the post.
